The line card features dedicated media access control (MAC) layer hardware for maximum performance in large-scale cable deployments. The line card offers two downstream modulators, an integrated upconverter, and eight upstream burst receivers on a single line card that embeds the most advanced RF capabilities for the Cisco uBR7246VXR.
